Volunteer with us!
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Welcoming customers and helping in our Friary Walk shop
- Sorting, preparing and displaying donated fabrics, haberdashery and craft materials
- Collecting donations from local businesses and organisations (a driving licence and access to a vehicle can be helpful for this role)
- Supporting our workshops and community activities
- Helping at craft fairs, exhibitions and fundraising events
- Creating social media content, taking photographs or helping to promote our work online
- Assisting with administration, stock management or other behind-the-scenes tasks
- Making visitors feel welcome with a friendly face and, of course, the occasional cup of tea!
You don’t need to be an expert sewer, knitter or crafter to volunteer with us. What matters most is enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to be part of a friendly team.
We also welcome:
- Students looking for work experience or placements
- Young people completing the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
- People looking to build confidence, gain new skills or return to work
- Retired people wanting to stay active and connected with their community
- Anyone who wants to make a positive difference by supporting sustainability and reducing waste
Our regular volunteer sessions are usually:
- Morning: 10.00 am – 12.30 pm
- Afternoon: 12.15 pm – 2.30 pm
If these times don’t suit you, we’d still love to hear from you. We occasionally need volunteers for evenings, weekends, community events and one-off projects.
Everyone is welcome at Remade Worcestershire. Whatever your age, background or experience, there’s a place for you in our team.
Complete the enquiry form below and we’ll be in touch to chat about how you’d like to get involved.
